Editfest is a 30-day editing competition hosted by the stock footage company Filmsupply. My entry, WeddingSorted, is a 45-spot spec advertisement for an all-in-one digital wedding planner.
With a wide-open set of instructions, I wanted to close in on something precise, that wouldn't screw me over later because I needed a specific shot I wouldn't have access to.
The final vision was inspired by the trailer for Primer, showing complicated undertakings as already having been handled. We move from more concrete aspects like invitations and catering to the harder-to-quantify such as vibes and memories.
Editfest 2026 is currently being judged.
